Ajman Real Estate Regulatory Agency (ARRA) has been established in Dec. 2008, according to the provisions of the Amiri Decree No (8) of 2008, as amended by the Amiri Decree No. (11)& (12) of 2008.
Ajman Real Estate Regulatory Agency (ARRA) aims at regulating real estate activities and joint ownership in Ajman and set up policies and legislations to authorize real estate projects/investment buildings. It also oversees the implementation of these policies and other plans related to them as well as regulating joint ownership

To lay down general policies for developing real estate projects and constructing investment buildings as well as suggesting legislations that help to organize real estate business in Ajman.

To organize the legal relationship between property developers and those who buy varied real estate units available situated within these projects and other investment buildings and suggesting ways of settling disputes that may arise among them.

To organize the legal relationship among those who buy real estate units in relation to preserving their ownerships and making use of public utilities intended for joint usage.

To submit recommendations to His Highness the Ruler in relation to pinpointing and constructing any real estate area or founding a free zone.

To consider and examine any application for the initiation of real estate projects or investment buildings in Ajman, and submit recommendations in this regard.

To authorize real estate developers and supervise their activities in the Emirate and in addition to recording their real estate projects and investment buildings in accordance with Amiri Decree No(8) of 2008.

To approve the qualified banking and financial institutions to administer accounts according to the Emirate’s valid legislations.

To supervise the activities of the Owners’ Associations as well as auditing its records and settle disputes that may arise among real estate developers or among members of the association.

To monitor any real estate advertisements released in the varied mass media in Ajman.

To express point view and submit recommendations to the Ruler in relation to real estate projects where the Government of Ajman, or any local Department, are part of these projects.

To set up promotion policies and strategic work plans to attract local and foreign investments in the domains of developing and accomplishing real estate projects in the Emirate.

To give directives for the preparation of surveys and researches in the area of real estate investment in the Emirate, in order to form an adequate database for use by those who want to invest in and develop real estate projects in Ajman.

To undertake any jurisdictions exercised by the Department of Lands and Properties according to the Amiri Decree No. (8) of 2008 in relation to developing real estate projects along with investment buildings in the Emirate of Ajman
